Click here for the Link to the EAST BAY SWIM LEAGUE (EBSL)================================ Coaches Practice Requirements and Eligibility: All Swimmers will be required to make an AVERAGE of 3 practices per week beginning April 7th thru May 31st (our first dual meet), with the exception of High School students participating in a spring sport at their school and college students living out of the area. Those athletes will be exempt ONE WEEK after their season ends, and will be required to make 3 practices a week. Any swimmer not making the required number of practices will not be allowed to swim in meets until they have made enough practices to bring their average up to the level required. Once school has ended for the summer break, the 11-18 year olds will be required to make a minimum of 4 practices per week in order to be eligible for swim meets. If a swimmer has not made an average of 2 practices a week for the months of April and May, they will no longer be considered for swim meets during that season. Championship Meet: In order to be eligible for the championship meet, swimmers must make the required number of practices and swim in 5 of the 7 dual meet per season. If a swimmer does not make the required number of practices and/or does not participate in 5 dual meets, they will no longer be considered part of the SLST roster and will be required to tryout for the team the following year. This rule went into affect for the 2007 season ad will continue for the 2008 season.
